RED To Release Epic And Scarlet Cameras

RED will release two new updated version of Epic and Scarlet cameras on November 13th, 2008. These new versions feature new incredible programs for both video cameras. FYI, the original Epic and Scarlet has been released in April 2008 as 5K and 3K resolution video cameras, respectively. The cameras are priced at $3,000 upwards

Panasonic has decided to release its world’s smallest DSLR, LUMIX DMC-G1, in the United States market. For your info, the LUMIX G1 adopts the Micro Four Thirds system that eliminates the internal mirror structure that defines digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) cameras and reduces the size and weight. The LUMIX G1 DSLR Camera will be released in three different colors including black, red and blue for $800 each

Panasonic adds new colors for its SDR-S7 ultra-portable camcorder. It is currently available in four colors including the red, blue, black and silver. Weighing only 182grams, the video camera is able to record 16:9 or 4:3 video at VGA (640 x 480) resolution in MPEG-2 format. Users can store their video files on SD cards that supports up to 16GB of storage capacity. The SDR-S7 also sports a 2.7-inch widescreen display, 10x optical zoom, stereo microphone, 0.6 seconds Quick Start, and USB 2.0 for fast file transferring.

The CEATEC 2008 is a platform for Sony to unveil its DSC-T77 digital camera, which is touted as the thinnest digital camera in the market today. Measures 3.9mm thick, the digicam features a 3-inch LCD touchscreen with an updated intelligent scene recognition technology, Smile Shutter and face detection technologies, a high sensitivity shooting(up to ISO 3200), and eleven scene modes. Available in brown, pink, green, silver and black, the Sony DSC-T77 digital camera is priced at around 300,000 Korean Won
