Microsoft has rolled out another affordable webcam in the form of the LifeCam VX-2000. This easy-to-use camera is capable of capturing VGA video as well as 1.3MP digital still images. Other interesting features include an auto-adjusts for low-light conditions, a built-in microphone and Windows Live features, which include Video Effects, Video Messages and Windows Live Call Button for easy initiation. You’ll be able to get this new webcam starting next month for $29.95.

Pentax has officially announced their latest DSLR namely the K-7, which will be available from July for $1,299.95. This powerful camera features a brand new 14.6 megapixel CMOS sensor, a 3-inch LCD, HD video recording at 30 fps, a new 77-segments metering system for complex lighting conditions, an AF-assist light, fast 5.2 frame-per-second shooting with a new Prime II image processing engine and many more. Panasonic announced in Japan its HDC-TM350 that is basically an update to its TM300 camcorder. Claimed to be the world’s largest capacity full HD camcorder, the Panasonic HDC-TM350 has a built-in 64GB flash memory up to eight hours of best quality HD video. Videos are recorded in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 codec and audio are compressed using Dolby Digital 5.1ch codec.

Like the TM300, the HDC-TM350 a 3MOS image sensor totaling 9.15 Megapixel (3.05*3) resolution, 12x optical zoom, 30x digital zoom, 5.1 channel audio recording and a 2.7-inch LCD display. Other than internal storage, the camcorder has a SD/SDHC card slot.
