Nikon officially rolls out its D90 DSLR

Nikon introduced a new AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR lens, a welcome addition to an existing Nikon DX-format D-SLR system and the ideal counterpart to the D90 Digital SLR camera also announced today. This flexible new DX lens offers photographers remarkable versatility, a broad focal range and the benefit of Silent Wave Motor (SWM) and Vibration Reduction (VR) Image Stabilization technology.

About specifications, 12.3 Mpix DSLR features CMOS sensor with the exclusive EXPEED image processing system that shoots about 4.5 frames per second, as well as a 3-Inch LCD Monitor with VGA resolution, 11 Auto Focus point, an ISO range between 100 to 6400, the LiveView, the Scene recognition system, face detection, Active D-Lighting, compatible SD/SDHC.
The HD Video mode which will allow you to record movie in 720p at 24fps with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It’s announced a price of 680€ (Body Only) or 880€ with the new 18-105mm f3.5/5.6 VR lens. You can also purchase this lens for 330€.

Nikon Corporation announce the introduction of the new flagship model in the Nikon COOLPIX lineup. Practical new features inspired by Nikon digital SLR cameras place shooting control and optimized performance in the hands of photographers with operation that feels both comfortable and natural. Our new Point & shoot device features a 1/1.7-in. 13.5 Megapixel image sensor, a 4x Zoom-NIKKOR lens with ED lens elements covers focal lengths from a wide 28mm (35mm format equivalent), a 2.7-Inch Touchscreen, 48MB of internal memory, an ISO sensitivity up to 6400.

The P6000 also allows taking picture in RAW Format, and is equipped with Face-priority AF, In-Camera Red-Eye Fix, D-Lighting function, Built-in GPS and the Wired LAN support in order to share your picture on Internet.
CoolPix P6000 will be available for 479€

Our Point & shoot camera feature a 1/2.33-in. CCD sensor, a 4x Zoom-NIKKOR lens capable of 28mm wide-angle shooting (35mm format equivalent), a large 3.0-inch LCD monitor, 45MB of internal memory, an ISO sensitivity up to 3200, SD/SDHC slot, as well as Face-priority, In-Camera Red-Eye Fix, D-Lighting, and WiFi connection. It will cost 269€.

CoolPix S710
This one is a 14.5Megapixels point & shoot Camera which features 1/1.72-inch CCD image sensor, new 3.6x Zoom-NIKKOR lens, 3.0-inch LCD monitor, an ISO sensitivity up to 3200 (even up to 12800 if you choose 3M image size (2048×1536)), SD/SDHC slot as well as Face-priority, In-Camera Red-Eye Fix, D-Lighting.
It’s announced a price of 299€.

CoolPix S560
The 10 Megapixels digital camera features 1/2.33-in. CCD sensor, a 5x Zoom-NIKKOR lens, 2.7 -inch LCD monitor, an ISO sensitivity up to 3200 and almost the same features as the S710. It comes with a price of 199€

CoolPix S60
This Point & Shoot camera comes with 1/2.3-in. CCD 10 Megapixels sensor, 5x Zoom-NIKKOR lens, 2.5 -inch LCD Touchscreen, an ISO sensitivity up to 3200, 20MB of Internal memory, a HDMI interface. This One will cost around 299€.

Nikon D3 Camera Firmware Update

Modifications enabled with upgrade of A and B firmware to v.2.00

  • Images captured with “Rotate tall”, in the playback menu, set to “On”, are not automatically rotated for display immediately after capture (image review).
  • The following changes and additions have been made to “f4: Assign FUNC.Button > FUNC. Button + dials” ; “f5: Assign preview button > Preview + command dials”, and “f6: Assign AE-L / AF-L button > AE-L / AF-L + command dials” menus in Custom Settings:
    • The “Choose image area” option has been separated into two options, “Choose image area (FX / DX / 5:4)” and “Choose image area (FX / DX)”
    • A new “Shooting menu bank” option has been added.
  • When “Choose image area (FX / DX / 5:4)” or “Choose image area (FX/DX)” is selected and the function button (Fn) is pressed, the image area setting is displayed in the top control panel, in the shooting information display, and at the bottom of the viewfinder.
  • A “Copyright information” item has been added to the setup menu. When “Copyright information” is enabled, the copyright symbol ( © ) is shown in the shooting info display.

Nikon to unveil its 12.1M FX-format DSLR D700

Nikon Imaging Korea revealed FX-format digital SLR ‘D700′.The D700 features an FX-format first introduced with the Nikon D3. Highly praised for its outstanding features, the D3 established a new level of professional performance in terms of overall image quality, extraordinarily low noise, ISO sensitivity range, continuous high-speed shooting, color gradation, image crispness, durability, weather-resistant operation, system versatility and more.The new D700 incorporates an extensive array of features that boast a level of performance that is in many ways comparable to the D3.

Adopting a 12.1-megapixel FX-format CMOS sensor with a sensing area of 36.0 x 23.9 mm, the D700 supports a sensitivity range of ISO 200 to 6400, continuous shooting at up to 5 frames per second, Nikon’s exclusive 51-point AF system, and Scene Recognition System for optimum autofocus, auto exposure and auto white balance detection.

Nikon D700 is available in Korea market on July 25th, and no words on pricing yet.
